Patrick Kelly Wise is an award-winning contemporary realism artist based in Petoskey, Michigan. He specializes in live event painting and custom fine art commissions. He has more than 30 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Painting. Patrick started his career as an advertising illustrator before moving to fine art full-time, where he could create work that reflects "both heart and intellect." His paintings focus on capturing the gestures, emotions, and character of people, along with the beauty of Northern Michigan's landscapes and the energy of live events.
Patrick's work is shown at Crooked Tree Art Center and Lake Street Design Studio in Petoskey, Pointe of View Gallery on Mackinac Island, and Beveled Edges Custom Framing in Harbor Springs. He is a preferred vendor for Mission Point and Castle Farms, and his work has been featured in Mackinac Island Wedding Magazine.

I began my career as an illustrator in the advertising field, but I found myself longing to do more with my artistic abilities and personal vision. With time and courage, I shifted my focus toward what truly inspires me - creating art that reflects both heart and intellect. Along the way, I’ve drawn motivation from fine art painters who pursued their craft with the same passion, allowing their influence to shape my own artistic journey.
